“Of course we do, but the inhabitants of Judah whom Jeremiah prophesied against had that same right not to be offended by the sin that was so prevalant then.”

In my copy of the Constitution I cannot find any specific right to not be offended. So you are saying that the Politically Correct are....correct? We need language/thought police to ensure that no one is ever offended?

Grunthor, my Christian brother...I'm in your corner more than you can know. We all have a personal right "not to be offended" by our convictions, ideals, values and opinions. You and I both have the right not to be offended by our complete and wholly devotion to our Savior, Jesus Christ. But in the same vein, the "Politcally Correct" or as I like to call them, "The Lunatic Fringe of the Rabid, Foaming at the mouth, whacko liberal left wing" (LOL) have a personal right not to be offended by their support of the homosexual lifestyle, partial birth abortion; well, you can see where I'm going with this. But going back to your original post, "Why do people continue to care what grown-ups do behind closed doors?" That's what I'm still addressing, PROVERBS 25:26--"LIKE A TRAMPLED SPRING AND A POLLUTED WELL, IS THE RIGHTEOUS MAN WHO GIVES WAY BEFORE THE WICKED"If the Righteous Christian community isn't pointing out even what seems like the innocent sin of Derek Jeter and have that non-caring, apathetic attitude, then we are that trampled spring and polluted well. Just food for thought. God Bless you, my brother.
