In his prime, there was nobody better than Jeter at shortstop.
Still amazed by some of his defensive plays.
Never got into trouble from doping or running his mouth, to my knowledge anyway.
Tries to keep his private life private.
Been a Yankee fan since a kid (That's from when Dizzy Dean was broadcasting the *Game of the week* on TV Saturday afternoon).

I used to love to listen to Ole Diz and Peewee do the games. I can still hear Diz say “I believe I’ll have me another Falstaff Peewee”. He was probably pretty hammered by the seventh inning stretch.
