Big deal. That tech is straight from GM. All my B body 1971-76 wagons use it to open the gate and glass. BMW Z3's in Germany used the same tech that they bought from GM years ago.

BTW, those are Lincoln MK VIII's that they customized the doors on. They haven't made those since 1998. I suspect that vid is quite old.

Wow, my parents had that station wagon when I was a kid. It was pretty innovative tech at the time.
