Thanks. Do you know the difference between “Breaking” and “Front Page” news?

Front page news would be an important story, but not an urgent one that just that minute broke.

Like in a newspaper, front page news would be important enough to make the front page, either above with a blaring headline of below the fold with a smaller one.

Breaking is reserved for something “hot off the wires”, or a headline that suddenly appears on Drudge...something like that.
