LOL!
...came home, read the manual, and found that it has a "double safety" on it, which I hadn't fathomed.
I guess my expertness from the mid 60's Marine Corps has faded away......double damn.
Anyhow - most of the Banglisters here will disagree, but a .22LR (Magnum better, of course) is a perfectly sufficient home defense tool.
It’s a desk-top lamp,not a floorlamp.
I love the gaudy lampshade with the tassels.
got the wife a Ruger P95 9mm,Santa got the ammo...now we gotta plan another boat trip, and I hate getting wet.
LOL! As soon as I saw the name “Mosin” appear on the thread I knew JoeProBono would show up. I was eying an 1897 in a pawn shop today. If it still had the Czar stamp I’d be our $200. Alas, it had been removed like so many others. Still a nice find with the hexagon receiver, just not for me.
There’s some family, in the next town over, who have that leg lamp in their window, with tassles. It’s highly visible from the street as I drive by.
That’s too funny. I bet a lot of people stop to gawk at it.
I hope so!
Of course it’s a lamp,you nincompoop!
Frah-gee-lay.
It must be Italian!
I didn’t get any more guns, but I did take out the Colt Trooper in 38sp that I keep beside the bed for a nice practice run and cleaning. They don’t make them like that any more.
LOL!! I watched a little of the movie on Sunday. I watch it every year! BTW, I love your screen name. Powers Boothe is the best macho cheeseball actor ever!
Cheeseball?
He was amazing as Jim Jones. Excellent portrayal. He won the Emmy Award and he deserved it.
He’s part Native-American and was named after his father’s friend from WWII.
I love it when the father falls down the stairs.
*Coughing* Damn skates!
One of my favorite “off brand” target pistols is a Bernardelli Model 69, basically the same as a Model 80 with a 6 inch barrel and combination barrel rib/weight. It also lacks the extra safety on the slide.
With a name like Powers? Yeah he was great in Jonestown and I enjoyed the film Southern Comfort.
LOL you beat me to it I got the exact same gun from Cabelas. It is a hoot to shoot!
