About three or four months ago we added a new test in our Laboratory at the hospital we work at and it is so wonderful to be able to tell if the patient is septic in an hr compared to 48 hr with the old Blood culture technic.. But we have had young people in the thirties die of Sepsis. Very sad.
Glad the new test can tell. I kept asking hospital staff why hubby’s arm was swelled, then they transported him by ambiance to a bigger hospital and before it was over, his whole body was swollen.
