>No Geraldo Rivera or Don Imus at the “new” KABC, Los Angeles (790)
It’s been expected that the revamped KABC talk lineup would share the new two-hour daytime radio show that Geraldo Rivera is launching at Cumulus sister WABC, New York (770). But the lineups released by KABC PD Jack Silver don’t show Geraldo - or Cumulus Media Networks-syndicated Don Imus, who currently occupies 3-5am. Jack Silver says The new lineup puts all of KABCs incredibly talented hosts into time slots that highlight their strengths. Here it is:
Doug McIntyre, 5-9am. John Phillips (”the youngest major-market talk show host in the country”), 9am to noon. Sean Hannity, noon-3pm. Larry Elder, moving from late mornings, 3-6pm. Mark Levin, 6-9pm. Peter Tilden, moving from mornings to 9pm-midnight. And the show McIntyre previously hosted, the Cumulus-syndicated Red Eye Radio, midnight-5am.
