so then who sent the lawyer?
Then that pretty much proves my point doesn't it? Looks like the evil side actually won a long time ago.......
One life was saved!
Deo Gratias!
Haven’t all the homes for unwed mothers closed? I suppose through churches there are families homes where girls in this situation can stay, or convents, some place safe.
As long as abortion is legal, it is the parent who should determine what is best for their child, not your government.
If legalized abortion is overturned by the SCOTUS, as I hope someday it will, then, and only then will I approve your government to prevent you or anyone else from forcing their child to have an abortion........
Interesting, I wonder if a non-religious not for profit could open one today.
It’d be worth checking out with Right to Life or another pro-life organization.
>> The reality is that the court also ruled that you as a parent have no right to PREVENT your adolescent child from having an abortion.....
I raised the concern of outlawing Sharia for similar reasons.
Regarding this issue of abortion, it could be argued the right to kill is not the judicial equivalent of the right to life.
It’s called emancipated minor with respect to health care. The girl is allowed to choose. Just like God lets all his children choose between sin and righteousness.
I do think parents should have the right to know what their daughter plans, and discuss all the reasons why she should choose to let her baby live. I do not believe in forcing her against her will.
If she was hell bent on an abortion, and I could not convince her to at least have the baby and let me raise it, there would be consequences. She’ probably have to find a new residence, cause I would not live with someone who killed my grand child.
Thank you, Upchuck! You are a computer linking genius! Mom
You’re welcome.
