I'm a public school teacher an we aren't all bad. For example, I explain to my government students why their textbook is incorrect in labeling the Constitution as a living document. I also tell them that their textbook is incorrect in labeling education as a concurrent power. There are some good teachers out there that are just trying to fight the system by teaching students properly. Also, I like to graffiti the NEA propaganda that is posted in the teachers’ restroom lol!

I went to a decent rural public school but I was out in 83.
Part of what made it good were the multi generational teachers who had taught my parents and in one case even my grandparents. Another was the fact that the teachers were part of the community.

I offered my apologies in post 14. There are a lot of great teachers, we only hear about the stupid one’s and it can lead to the wrong conclusions...mears rightly corrected me..
