To purge or purify.

Many around here have been pointing out that Romney’s canard about not being a career politician, is only because he lost to Ted Kennedy in 1996, for months, before Gingrich actually had the wherewithal to say it.

I’d be willing to risk a Goldwater style defeat if we had an actual Goldwater type candidate. If there is one in this field, Newt isn’t it. Maybe Perry or Bachmann or even Paul.
