Full title: "Six-thousand-year-old earth mother statuette found on banks of the Somme is named 'Lady of Villers-Carbonnel'".
With a curvaceous figure and short stubby arms, the discovery of a 6,000-year-old earth mother in France shows how far the essence of beauty has changed over the centuries.

Interesting that the figure (like the famous ancient figurine called the Venus of Willendorf) may depict steatopygia, a trait found today in the Khoi-San of SW Africa and the Andaman Is. Negritos (and in Michelle 0bama?).

She suffers a terminal case of Michelebuttitis.
At least she is way to young for any Helen Thomas pictures; maybe she’s a G-G-Granddaughter.

It looks like the Frenchnen’s preference for women with a rear end like a Percheron mare’s goes back many years!

Very interesting, thanks SC. This is clearly Neolithic and unusual for them to have penetrated so far into the north of France so early. It is very middle-eastern/east Mediterranean, I think that pinheaded figurine was common at Gobekli Tepe? I’ll have to go to Google Images. It’s not like the Venus of Willendorf which was thousands of years earlier but descnded from it.
