Granted, I don't know that she is a meth head. Let me just say that her stuff looks like it was done by a person who has far more time and energy than talent or ideas. I saw plenty of psychedelic art in the 60's, created by people on various mind altering substances, and most of it was more edifying than Weber's stuff. All she does is fill up space, with no critical eye to the final effect. It's as if she just said, "I think I'll just fill up this space," and then proceeded to do it. That's not how the artistic process works. You start with an idea, and the idea spawns other ideas, and the materials and chance contribute, and you take a look and see what's happening, and then you adjust the design and keep stepping back to reassess, etc etc. I see no such involvement in these pieces. They're just doodles that metastacised to fill all available space, reproducing like cancer cells, with no variation or differentiation.
Still, as you pointed out, she managed to get some attention, so at least from her point of view, it wasn't a complete waste of time.
