A lot of the blame rests with her parents, both media whores who pimped out a little girl to Hollywood and never cared about the damage they were doing to her. They wanted fame and money, got some of both, and destroyed Lindsay in the process. Throw tons of money at a young girl with no supervision and you see the result. Lindsay does bear some responsibility for her current state, but she was a child when all of this started.

Lindsay was beautiful and talented once. Now she is 25 and looks 45, and is a drugged out train wreck. So very sad.

You make a very good point, but I wonder if it's also something else. Recently there was a thread on the rampant sexual abuse of children in Hollywood. I can't help but wonder if she isn't one of the victims. She certainly displays a lot of the "classic" results of sexual abuse, as have so many child "stars".
