I don't know much about the “Universal” brand, but if it is decent condition, that seems like a steal at $200! Add some 30 round Korean mags, maybe mount a decent inexpensive scope or red dot, and you should be in business out to over 200 meters at a very reasonable cost.

It is not a long range weapon, nor was it ever intended as such. But it is an extremely compact and handy weapon and has been well proven by several militaries and seen a lot of combat in at least 3 major wars.

The iron sights on the carbie are supposed to be pretty good, and I want my kids to get a solid foundation in shooting irons, so I’ll probably not put on a red dot. I want the kids to learn irons while they have the sharp eyes.
