FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

Hard to trust someone who does one thing in office, and the exact opposite as a lobbyist.

I think he would. He loves this country and has studied its history with zeal unlike the idiot that occupies the White House.
To: dynachrome
No I trust Obama and I’d do anything possible to see that Republicans destroy each other to make sure he gets another 4 years.

I want a presidential candidate who will hammer Obama, relentlessly, 24/7, every waking minute of every day, from now until the election.
Newt's jump in the poll started when he told the occupy Wall Street crowd to take a bath and get a haircut and a job. That's what I want, but like 500 times a day for the next 330 days.
If one of the other candidates can figure it out, great. Until then, Newt is showing the way.
In terms of the poll, what's the point? Do I trust Newt vs whom? Obama?
To: dynachrome
Should be a two-parter with the second part asking “Will you vote for him over Obama anyway?”

Trust involves expectations. I would trust him more than Obama knowing exactly what I would get which is nothing more than a rock under the tire of the downhill progress we are on....
..so, yes...

I still scratch my head as to why people hate lobbyists.
NRA are Lobbyists
GOA are Lobbysists
National Right to Life are Lobbyists
Heritage Foundation are Lobbyists.
They are just professionals who represent groups of people.
The war against “Lobbyists” distracts us from philosophical issues the Lobbyists represent.

Doesn’t matter. Newter will lose anyway and its going to be real bad when that realization sets in.

If I couldn’t trust him as Speaker, why should I trust him as President?

"Should be a two-parter with the second part asking Will you vote for him over Obama anyway? Heh, good one.
My answers would be:
NO
then
MAYBE
to your addition to the poll.
To: dynachrome
I trust him to debate Obama hard and effectively.
I trust that he does love the country and understands the principles upon which it were founded.
I trust that he would sign all good legislation given him by a Republican congress.
Do I trust that, left to his own devices, he wouldn’t stray into some big government tinkering? NO, but then again, he won’t be left to his own devices.
So on balance, yes. But not 100%. Then again, 100% is never on the ballot.

Bogus push-poll.
There should be two questions.
The second question should be "Do you trust Ubama as President?"

Not sure how you want me to Freep this one.
To: mnehring
I don’t hate lobbyists at all.
I only hate lobbyists who will change their political/moral beliefs solely to advance their career.
Newt has shown that he will say one thing while in office and do another as a lobbyist.
