Youve managed to pull a lusty upset or two in the past, but BSU would be a 6-6 team in the SEC.
That could be true (but I doubt it). I haven't really followed BSU that closely but I think they were pretty banged up. Even so, they ended up ranked #7 in the BCS, and end up in the Las Vegas Bowl?
Why even have rankings if they mean nothing in selecting which teams go where? With the current system, if you're a big named school from a major conference, as long as you finish better than 500 (or under as is the case with UCLA), you're predetermined to get a favorable bowl.
Maybe they should have a similar system in pro sports with standings meaning nothing?
can you spell M-O-N-E-Y ? they couldn't care less about which team is the "champion". If you are Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Alabama, Ohio State, Wisconsin, USC...etc, chances are that if you even have an average season, you'll be in for some post season play. The reason for that is because these, and some other, teams have huge followings with huge bucks.
