I watched a documentary how cheetahs are usually underdog and back down from most other preditors and large omnivores. Yeah, they’re fast. But they are often alone and don’t screw with large packs or big, bulky, warthogs. Even lions don’t usually screw with warthogs. In the video I saw, the cheetah backed down from a loan babboon. They usually stick to the smaller grazing animals or atleast that is what the documentary discussed

The cheetah was called “the chicken of the Serengeti” at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. They are built for speed, not combat.
