When I was at A&M, 98% of the students voted for Reagan. I know tu could not say the same.
They just need to get Perry away from anything haviing to do with the campus.
I'm. It going to argue that Texas’ students are more conservative than A&M students, but there is no way that 98% of A&M students voted for Reagan in 1980 or 1984.
And unless you can cite such a statistic, I will maintain that less than 98% of Aggie students voted for any one candidate.
However, that was 31 or 27 years ago and this century finds Texas A&M in a precarious economic situation where they owe former coaches and UT and the Big 12 a ton of cash of which they do not have in their athletic fund.
And while no one at Texas would claim that 98% of the students voted for any one candidate, we can say that our University can keep its financial house in order and pay all of our bills all while maintaining a premier athletic program and continue to be the most academically selective public school in the state.
