“A&M is the most conservative public college in the country, and more conserative than most private colleges.”

If A&M is so conservative, why is it they manage their finances like European socialists?

This would never happen if there were an Ag governor.

Oh, wait...

Well, we agree on that: Mack Brown needs to go.

Mack Brown will be gone if he has another bad year.
But, the difference between Texas and A&M is that Texas can afford to fire their five million dollar a year coach, and go out and still have the cash to buy any coach in the country, the Aggies do not have that luxury.

Lay off.

Rick Perry is the smartest Aggie ever produced.

Okey dokey. TU is the be-all and end-all.

For you, anyway.

When I was at A&M, 98% of the students voted for Reagan. I know tu could not say the same.

They just need to get Perry away from anything haviing to do with the campus.

“When I was at A&M, 98% of the students voted for Reagan. I know tu could not say the same.”

I'm. It going to argue that Texas’ students are more conservative than A&M students, but there is no way that 98% of A&M students voted for Reagan in 1980 or 1984.

And unless you can cite such a statistic, I will maintain that less than 98% of Aggie students voted for any one candidate.

However, that was 31 or 27 years ago and this century finds Texas A&M in a precarious economic situation where they owe former coaches and UT and the Big 12 a ton of cash of which they do not have in their athletic fund.

And while no one at Texas would claim that 98% of the students voted for any one candidate, we can say that our University can keep its financial house in order and pay all of our bills all while maintaining a premier athletic program and continue to be the most academically selective public school in the state.

“TU {sic} is the be-all and end-all.”

Not exactly, but it is the flagship university in the state and unlike A&M, it has never been a national laughingstock.

I see that you ego is closely associated with the university. Do you think that’s healthy mentally? I mean, here you are at FR (a political sight) trying to kick up “my university is better than yours” problems. Grow up. But I suppose it’s too late for that.
