when King decided all existence springs from...well, King.

He has been sub-par since he got clean, as terrible as that sounds. His early works will always be known as his best...I got to meet him in 1979 in a little burg called Houlton, Maine and still have an autographed paperback copy of The Stand.

I agree, I got the feeling that he just wrote the 6th and 7th Dark Tower books so that he’d fulfill his promise to complete them. I wish they’d been left unfinished.

I used to be an avid reader of King, and still greatly enjoy and dust off his older stuff (pre 2000ish, maybe?) regularly.

Since we’re talking about King, I had to throw in my favorite Futurama line.
