In the minds of the Alexrod/Rove/Media Machine, the Americans People are far too stupid to select the nominee of any party and thus unless that nominee is approved by them and their respective party establishments, he/she must be destroyed for even threatening their plans.

Cain's withdrawal from the is clearly a victory for the Alexrod/Rove/Media Machine as they will be the ones, who give us the candidate that will face Obama and right not it looks like for the GOP that Mittens Romney will be that nominee!

You nailed it. It's pathetic. The Chicago mob has joined with the RINOs to write the script for 2012.

Liberal letter writers to the local fishwrap are already using Cain’s departure as proof of the “inherent racism of the GOP”.

The only bigotry involved was the bigotry against outsiders which in my opinion is the same thing.

I agree with you, and it makes me sick that we seen that way. Also disgusting is how the media excuses the behavior of the “favored”, and leaps on unverified accusations toward the “unfavored”.

But, I have faith that the Father of us all will write straight, in spite of all the crooked lines being drawn by the so-called “elite”.

And, if what I think is coming, in fact, does come. I am glad that Herman Cain will not be in office, and then be blamed for it. Perhaps he made the wisest decision, seeing how corrupt the system has become.

The left's goal is to destroy all GOP candidates except Romney, thereby supressing the conservative and evangelical vote in the general election.

If conservatives and especially Tea Party members were so strong for Herman Cain, how could these fine folks be so manipulated by an obvious media conspiracy against Herman Cain?

Are you saying that those who plan on voting in the Republican primaries and caucuses are not smart enough to see through this great conspiracy?

Herman Cain made history as a trail-blazer. He embraced his supporters as they encouraged him toward a shining city on a hill.

There is something noble and comforting in that remarkable display of mutual respect and affection. It is a beginning not an end. We, the people know who we are. Herman Cain is one of us, only better.

Change the last word from "plans" to "sinecures" and I think you are closer to the mark. The "Alexrod/Rove/Media Machine" are doing just peachy the way things are right now and have no desire to change anything, even if the rest of the country -- and by extension the world -- goes to Hell.

Still, and I might be alone in this, I believe that Cain's removal from the nomination process was driven to a large degree by Barack H. Obama himself. I base that conclusion on my own reading of Obama, who I believe is both narcissistic and paranoid.

Simply put. Cain scared Obama at the deepest level of his profoundly pathetic soul. There is absolutely no way that Obama could have taken the stage in a debate between the two of them.

If I could have one wish, it would be that more Americans could understand how the Elite Ruling Class is the root of so much evil, the cause of the disease that threatens this great nation.

I supported Sarah Palin, because she is a real person, and an outsider.

Then I supported Herman Cain, for the same reasons - plus the fact that he brought business acumen and problem solving skills.

Now I’m supposed to be happy we have an Insider who is witty and smart, but not smart enough to realize that sitting on the couch with Nancy Pelosi is never a good idea”?

I just hoped I could vote, at least in a Primary, for a non-politician who held conservative beliefs.

But now, the choice is, “Which flavor of Insider will you choose?” Dammit.

People can and did argue whether Cain would make a good nominee or president, but that ain’t why he was forced out.

To the dems he was both a threat and an Uncle Tom off the plantation. To the GOP establishment, he just plain wasn’t in the club as you say.

I am angry he didn’t get a fair shot.

An old bumper sticker said
If voting could actually change anything, it would be illegal too.
It's looking more and more accurate every year. The media makes sure that no true conservative ever rises to public prominence without being savaged over and over until he or she surrenders. Look at Sarah Palin. As soon as she looked like a potential threat, her life was put under a microscope and made a living hell. Cain was subjected to sleazy attacks. Newt will be next, until only RINO Romney is left.

I couldn’t agree with you more, sir.

The left did exactly what it said it was going to do, and the right bought it hook, line, sinker, pole, boat, and driver.

I certainly hope conservatives are proud of themselves.

Boy oh boy...

Sorry, it pains me to say this but much of this was self inflicted by Cain. If there was a shred of truth to this Herm needed to admit infidelity and try to get ahead of the story. Instead, his denials became more ridiculous as a phalanx of bimbos erupted.

I am anxious to see where his upper level campaign staff ends up.

There is still much to learn about this.
