Be careful with Lagovulin... it’s super peaty. Not all scotch drinkers like heavy peat. for those that do (like my husband!) it’s one of the very best.

Regardless, if you think Lagavulin is peat, try Ardbeg. It's is the "peatiest" of all the Islay single malts. Liquid smoke.
As for the question of the day - the only answer is Lagavulin.
Not the Special Release Distillers Edition distilled in 1991, just the standard bottle. It cannot be surpassed.
