It's not ridiculous at all. It's called playing your cards close to the vest. The onus has been placed on Ginger White to cough up the records that prove her allegations. If she cannot do so, it establishes what is already suspected: she's a lying fat sow.

And it preserves Herman Cain's option of producing his OWN records if it should come to that.
