That is a completely healthy view.
However, modern society has stripped men of their rights.
Weak men respond to this by insisting that they are then not beholden to any responsibilities either.
Strong men, on the other hand, respond to it by accepting responsibilities but demanding commensurate rights.
Many women respond by simply willfully ignoring the link between the rights of men and the responsibilities of men. And when that link is ignored, society implodes.
We definitely have a system that rewards both males and females for behavior that falls far short of what decent people expect of human beings of either sex. To me, it’s much less important to blame anyone, whether as individuals or as groups, than it is to break the system and change the incentives. That’s not going to happen as long as people are arguing about whose fault anything is.
