I wonder why the Hyperion units will have a GPS as standard equipment?

Ecatnews is speculating the 3 mm. gamma ray shielding may be a typo. But it can't be much thicker or the total mass for the units would have to be a lot higher. And the 3 mm. figure is found twice in the document. (They are also saying the Defkalion server is down at the moment.)

There will be a non-hazardous self-destruct mechanism to protect against tampering.

There will be a 6 second pre-heat cycle with a 6 amp heater to get the Hyperion running.

It will be equipped with a pair of USB ports.

There will be some minor power consumption for pumps, controller, etc. The unit willl have a couple mundane backup batteries but I think it is meant to be plugged in.

The single reactor kernel is rated at 5-11 kW (still being developed), with a mass of 19.5 kg.

Max power consumption to be <200 Wh. COP better than 1:25.

Hydrogen and powder recharge every 6 month (like the Ecat).

From the tale end of the Hyperion spec sheet:

Rats... can't copy directly from the document due to password protection. Anyway, it discusses the evidence they have for LENR reactions in their reactors. While stating they are an industrial company not a science outfit, "...we do recognize the importance of scientific knowledge for further scientific research and product development. For this reason we have decided to invest on [sic] a new series of on-line real-time mass spectrometers, designed specifically for LENR and Hyperions, that we are developing and testing in Greece. It is our intention to publish all relative measurements in scientific journals and events [?], when our tests are finally concluded."

Well, that sounds good, as far as it goes.
