No pictures please. The desensitization of young women to and the normalization of slutty-ness is no laughing matter.

I used to get the best cotton t-shirt type nightgowns at Victories Secret. I went there last year because I needed some new ones. I didn't stay long, not only did they no longer have those nightgowns, the merchandise was ALL slutty and the other customers all looked like whores. I don't think they want my kind there.

slutty is fine. it’s encouraged, in fact. it’s the wholesomeness of the miss america pageant that makes liberals spit venom and spew hatred.

Uh, the "wholesomeness" of miss America? Women parading in bikinis on a stage is "wholesome"?
I know, there are worse things, and miss America is really not as overtly sexualized (yet) as victoria secret, but still...I wouldn't quite use the word "wholesome."

Yeah, I think part of protecting them is ensuring they have to ability to protect themselves. But sending them to a warzone is certainly unnessesary.

I would usually agree with you about putting women in harm’s way. However, given the nature of the targets and given that “political correctness” won’t allow us to dip our ammunition in bacon fat, I suspect the next best thing is having those people contemplate the idea of being shot by a woman! :)

Calm down and look under the sofa cushion ... maybe the remote control is under there again.
Your standards should remain just that: YOUR standards. Probably not something we would’ve seen on TV when we were kids, but it isn’t nearly as trashy as a lot of the junk that gets aired these days.
While I could’ve done without the Kanye West crap, my wife and I actually enjoy watching the VS Fashion Show. And by the way, since it IS basically an hour long commercial for Victoria’s Secret, the only talent the models require is making the fashions look good (and they are quite talented).
Here’s a heads-up for you: They’re gonna do this again about this time next year ... try not to watch it next time.

IMO women should be doing anything they can do.

I’m not averse to hot women and my wife and I watched part of this still there is a bigger point. Yeah it’s slutty to a degree that wouldn’t be seen when we were young and is that a good thing? With rappers singing “meet me in the bathroom stall”? Whether for drugs or sex that is pure filth and how about the segment on little girls growing up to be VS models? As a man I can look at all kinds of stuff and still realize there’s something wrong. As another poster agreed VS stores have just become trash as well.
