I’m an Apple fan - but.... I can’t bring myself to allow this much of my data to be entirely in the hands of anyone. It’s bad enough that my ISP touches my email or that any number of websites/companies have bits and pieces of information related to me, but to allow nearly everything I have related to data in one space just seems too risky to me. Others thoughts?

You are right. Apple is becoming big brother, wants to be, err iBrother?

A bit more frightening to have Apple as a big iBrother than even google or Microsoft.

Perhaps I'm and exception, but I don't believe I keep any information on my computer that I would consider private.

I follow Howie Carr's advice: never write when you can speak, never speak when you can nod, and never nod when you can wink.

If you think that Google hasn’t already accumulated all of that information on you, without your active participation or consent, then you’re kidding yourself.
