I use the Public Folder on iDisk extensively to share some data files with friends so that they can sync with them.

I understand that I will lose this feature to share on a Public Folder if I switch to iCloud.

If that’s not true, could someone educate me on how to share a Public folder to sync with other computers using iCloud? Thx. I can’t find any info online.

I don’t think iCloud has any sort of iDisk functionality. I use Dropbox for that. Currently I only use iCloud to backup my iOS deices.

It is pretty straightforward and easy using DropBox.. though I am no expert.
