The collectivist apologetics justifying this utter loss of privacy are so sickenly craven, I wanted to vomit after reading this.

I only have a Mac and a couple of iPods, tho I am serious about getting a iPad (and have been since the iPad2 came out). This article seems to indicate that iOS devices which have internet capability are the main reasons to use iCloud. I've been leery of the privacy implications, even tho I don't think there actually is any such thing as privacy with the devices we're using, anyway.

The upshot is that I didn't accept the conditions of service when I began to initialize iCloud. It was a bit creepy to subsequently receive an email thanking me for signing up!

What does appeal to me is the $25 music feature, which seems to be related but somehow seperate. SM, can you clarify?

I just got it. If I'm at work, I can access all of my iTunes music library on my iPhone. I hope they'll offer the same thing for my video library soon.
