economists say that if every one of us spent an extra $3.33 on U.S.-made goods every year, it would create nearly 10,000 new jobs in this country

Economists also said that Porkulus I and II would solve our economic malaise.

It's really simple - we're not going to have more jobs in the US until businesses feel comfortable to grow in the US. And not only the current regime, but the current tax system, is set to keep businesses from growing in the US.

Eliminate the corporate income tax, eliminate long-term capital gains taxes, and slash regulations - and we'd have no problem with job creation in the US.

IMO, "comfort" doesn't doesn't matter - it's the Great God Bottom Line.

I tagged along with wifey as she checked out Beale's department store in Nevada. I looked at a pair of Florsheim boots - $90.00 - made in India. Does anyone Honest-to-God say that they couldn't be made in the U.S. for the same price? They could, but the profit margin wouldn't be the same - hence "Free Trade means lower prices". (cough)
