I can’t stand Black Friday and the hype about shopping and all that. And I am frustrated about stories about stampedes of people breaking down doors to get into the stores to get a bargain on this and that.
And this year, a customer at a Wal-Mart in L.A. pepper sprayed other customers to keep them away from the bargains she wanted.
It seems like it creates a bad atmosphere and brings out a rough crowd.
I hope to stay away from all shopping malls until January 4th.
Just got back from a trip to Walmart, then Sams Club. LESS shoppers than usual. Less traffic on the road. No crazy stuff. We thought it would be this way this year.
My son went to Walmart late last evening for a snack attack, and he said the store had a ton of staff, but not a ton of shoppers.
I guess all the crazies are in the bigger cities, cause there doesn’t seem to be a lot of action here. :)
