A wild turkey smashed through a plate glass window at an empty western Pennsylvania restaurant and ended up where millions of its fellow gobblers did on Thanksgiving: a dining room.
Penn Hills police Officer Bernard Sestili tells the WTAE-TV the feathered fowl didnt survive impact when it barreled into the dining room of the Eatn Park in Penn Hills on Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was closed at the time.
Sestili says he responded when the buildings alarm went off.
He suspects the turkey may have been roosting in a nearby tree when it got up this morning and went for his morning flight and flew into the window.

Are they territorial? It could have attacked that intruder turkey in the restaurant window!
Man,we have a lot of these things. Outside of Pittsburgh is a turkey hunters dream,if they were allowed to hunt them.
The lumberyard where I work have about 13 of the damn things running around. And they can fly. One flew over my head and it was a like a Cessna with feathers.
It is funny to see them perch in trees.
