I would only expect the government to force employers to obey the law. Be that as it may; I would drop border security. If the other four were done there would be very few people crossing the border and the BP could easily handle those who did.

Just who the hell do you think employers are? THEY ARE PRIVATE CITIZENS. Its not an employer’s responsibility to ascertain which SS numbers are fake ans which are not.

The burden should be on the law to PROVE the employer knowingly hired an illegal alien...which is very nearly impossible to prove unless the employer admits to it.

My opinion is if you just do my top two, you will eliminate more than 50%% of illegal immigrants in the short term...but more importantly, you will eliminate a legal voting block which votes in favor of illegal immigration in the long term.

Exactly, if ya don't go after the corrupt employers, you'd better put up a steel 40 foot wall with gun towers.

Those suggesting much of the responsibility does not lay at the feet of corrupt employers, is either naive, or lying.
