My mother and father were non-citizen legal immigrants. My only brother was killed in the battle for Okinawa. I was on Leyte as infantry replacement when the war ended. My brother and I had no doubts we were fighting for the USA as citizens and for a Country we believed to be the best of all.My mother(father died a few months before I was born) had a heavy heart but still accepted the sacrifice. Perhaps I read your post wrong but you seemed to suggest neither my brother or myself deserved USA citizenship.

no where did I say ONLY persons born of citizen parents can be citizens. Maybe you need to educate yourself about just what the anchor baby law is.
