Take a look at this "Warriors of Goja" video that no less an authority than blogging pioneer Jason Kottke is calling "the craziest thing you'll ever see on the web."

While no one is hurt in the video, it does includes scenes of fearless daredevils biting fluorescent light bulbs, having bricks smashed against their heads with a giant mallet, and being run over by a car.

Most of that is copied from the Chinese, who have been doing similar tricks for centuries. The bricks, etc. involve the principle of spreading the shock over an area while the pressure is training over time. The Chinese would use 3 bamboo spears to the throat and move together until the bamboo broke. I saw a show of this when VHS was still popular.

They look miltary. If the Indian troopers are this tough just for fun then the Pakies and Chicoms had better be careful.

Don’t know which Indian ethnic group this is.

But there are some pretty interesting demonstrations of Rajput martial arts here: http://movies.netflix.com/WiPlayer?movieid=70143868&trkid=2361637&t=Deadliest+Warrior#MovieId=70143868&EpisodeMovieId=70188140
