In my opinion Cain needs to start selling Cain better, most people don’t have a clue about his impressive list of accomplishments, he has let the media frame him as just the “pizza guy” when he has one of the most amazing resumes I have ever seen.

GREAT point! Maybe a Cain ad asking “Who will YOU hire to manage the world’s largest business? A trained CEO, or just a politician?”

BTW, Cain needs to promote Romney as a decent guy who is worthy to be his Attorney General. Romney is squeaky clean, smart and hungry to do good in the US Federal Government. A good fit for his talents.

Good point! Having never held a political office, Cain is not used to self-aggrandizing. Cain did manage to throw in his rocket scientist background on Letterman, because Letterman kept repeating the pizza man meme. But you are absolutely right, the general public is not political junkies and need to be told repeatedly about Cain's amazing resume, which stands head and shoulders above the others.

In that respect, I think he's missing the boat. He comes across sometimes like it's enough to have a plan in place and if you have any questions go look it up. My impression is that he doesn't (yet) see the value in getting up close and personal with the American people, inviting us into his living room and chatting with us heart-to-heart, like a friend, like Reagan did. The American people want Cain to be their (our) friend the way Reagan was their (our) friend.

Expensive airtime sure. Worth it? Yes. This isn't for Cain, as he himself has said. A lot hangs in the balance.
