Gary Cooper (even though he stars in many of my favorite movies) Coop was always Coop. You can say it's easy always playing yourself, but it's not so. John Wayne falls into this category too.

I never got the “Gary Cooper” appeal. A wooden cigar store India emoted as much as he did.
Like you, I like his movies, but if that guy was a great actor, I missed my calling.
