Heath and Deborah Campbell, the New Jersey parents of three children with Nazi-inspired names, lost custody of their fourth child 17 hours after he was born, the Express-Times of Lehigh Valley, Pa., reported.
Hons Campbell was taken into custody by the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services late Thursday night after the doctor who delivered the baby called the agency, the paper reported.
Theres no legal binding court order. Its basically a kidnapping, but they use different terms, Heath Campbell told the Express-Times.
The Campbell family stepped into the spotlight in December 2008 when a ShopRite grovery store declined to decorate a birthday cake for their son Adolf Hitler Campbells third birthday.
The state took custody of Adolf, along with his sisters JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Himler Jeannie Campbell, in January of 2009. The three children have remained in foster care ever since.
A DYFS spokesperson told ABCNews.com in 2009 that she could not comment on a specific case, but said children are only taken into custody if there is a suspicion of abuse or neglect.
We would never remove a child simply based on their name, the spokeswoman said.

If they named him “Ossama bin Laden” would it have ever been an issue?
very dangerous precedent
but 2 lesbians putting their son on sex change drugs at 8 isn’t child abuse??
I’ve reported this earlier, but here it goes again.
The resonance of those names varies greatly among cultures. There was a report in the WSJ some years ago about the Philippines. Because of a history of Spanish colonialism, there is a shortage of last names there, a big country, causing all sorts of problems with legal issues, credit scores, etc. So, aware of this, some parents name their children unique names, such as, yes, Adolf Hitler, a lucky fellow (as far as his credit score and police record) featured in the article.
thoughtcrime
So how did Barack HUSSEIN Obama fall through the CPS cracks?
I have mixed emotions. Were the parents physically abusing their children?
Normally children shouldn’t be taken from their parents, unless the situation is very grave.
This situation is akin to taking your kid into a crime-ridden black neighbourhood, with a sign saying, “I hate blacks”.
It is just as abusive to deliberately give your kid a name that is going to make him a deliberate target of physical violence and social isolation.
I agree,very dangerous precedent.
I find it frightening.
You mean like naming your little girl Chastity?
The parents could be the most loving people in the world, but they’ve set their kids up to get a daily ass kicking wherever they go.
I fail to see how naming your little girl, Chastity, would have the same negative response as Adolf Hitler.
Country Joe McDonald (don’t remember him? Good!) was named after the Father of All Nations!
I’m Jewish, but I am totally against this, and all thought crimes.
Like naming your son Sue.
There was an all state high school foolball player in Alabama several years ago named Reprobatus Bibbs. There are many other names given to children that are just as ridiculous. Is Adolph Hitler any worse? I really don’t think so . . . IMHO
Maybe you will have to ask Cher.
I don’t see it as a thought crime.
I do see it as being akin to deliberately sending your children into harm’s way.
What doctor would agree to a demand to do that to a normal 8 year-old boy? The parents and the doctor should be brought up on charges of endangerment of a minor. The doctor should have his license pulled.
