I think they ran out of ideas.

I think the Original 70’s “UFO” may have been the greatest sci-fi of the modern era, especially given the tech at the time, and the futuristic mind of Garry Anderson to pull it off.

They ran out of money, too. They had half the budget for Season 2.

I really liked the episode about the Savior character. Also, the series allowed Barry Morse to play a character that wasn't one of the most hated men in America.

I remember that show from when I was a kid.
Really weird, creepy stuff.
If it's available on Netflix I'll have to watch it again.
