Vanity: Most overused phrase in the last two months “SHOCK POLL”

Posted on 11/18/2011 10:43:46 AM PST by Scythian

Everywhere I look the phrase "Shock Poll" is found. Any story that reports a new person in the lead of the polls in any state for the first time is a "Shock Poll".

Please be careful when approaching such stories, there are extremely shocking and may be touch for some to handle.

The Drudge Report has been especially guilty of this, but even now, Newt in a dead hit with Mitt in a NH poll it's a "Shock Poll.

Stay tuned for more Shocking information on this phenomenon ...

Be on the lookout for even more "Shock Polls" ...

I would have guessed the most used word to be ‘transparent’.

Yes, polls are only shocking to those who do not understand middle class America and are expecting different results because of their ideological predispositions.

I disagree - the most overused term is “Frontrunner Mitt Romney”

I was beginning to think he had changed his first name.
