Batteries not included...........
People like Joseph Newman (The Joseph Newman energy machine) need a site like this. His is:http://www.josephnewman.com
I wouldn't buy a bolt from this guy.
And now to step out the energy area and head over to kook central, this person, Dr. Judy Wood, could use a decent site designer: http://www.drjudywood.com/
Her site is fine if you're a meth addict, what the h*ll is she doing, trying to drive people away? This makes me believe her theory that the WTCs were destroyed by a DEW weapon and the towers were literally turned to dust????, OK maybe not. So now maybe I understand the chaos that is her site.
Haven't got enough, she has a new book out called, "Where Did the Towers Go?"it even has pictures!!!!
OK, back to sanity, here's a description off the ECAT from his new website:
The method does not use or produce radioactive materials. It utilizes nickel and hydrogen. And when the reactor is turned off, after twenty minutes, every kind of radiation is thermalized. What is left are metals like nickel and some copper. The radiation that is produced here are contained inside the box of the reactor which is shielded by lead. These gamma ray radiations are in the range between 50 and 200 KEVS (kiloelectronvolts), which are very low energy radiations. It also has a maximum life of twenty minutes, because they are completely thermalized, which also means that they are transformed into heat. The fact this reactor does not use radioactive materials and do not leave radioactive materials makes it a safe nuclear reactor.
This info also comes from his new website:
Before going public with his ECAT fusion invention, Andrea Rossi had also manufactured a boiler, using this method, that has heated his factory Ferrara, a small town in Northeast Italy. Since this boiler has heated the factory for about a year, they were able to make experiments in an actual working reactor. The reactor in Ferrara reactor is similar to the modern ECAT that they are making and has a module of about 20 kilowatts. It provides heat to an area that measures about 1000 square feet.
Ferrara is a very cold area in Italy where winter can go on for the duration of five months in a year. With temperatures ranging from 6 to 10 degree Celsius. The reactor was able to provide heat to the office and factory for over a year. This result encouraged Andrea Rossi to make the other modules that later would be tested by other scientists. They are now in the process of building a one megawatt plant.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Excellent, let's examine that one, it ran for a year so let's take it apart, Rossi can hide his catalyst (remember, catalysts aren't used up in the reaction although they may be hard to get back), in theory But nevertheless, we can get a good look at his actual reactor, how the fluid flows, where the frequency generator comes in and what it's pointing to. Where the preheat resisters are and anything else he deems non secret. Who know, he might get his Patent soon which would make the secret catalyst moot. Unfortunately, leaving out the formulation of the secret catalyst, is grounds for rejecting the Patent. I don't know this Patent stuff but there's a guy on JREF, Horatio, who does.
what the heck is an ECAT....like anyone know what the heck you’re posting.
...or cares except for may the 1/2 dozen people on this site that do have a clue.
People like Joseph Newman (The Joseph Newman energy machine) need a site like this. Thanks for the link. It's amazing how many people there are who are just one gullible investor away from revolutionizing the world.
I notice that Newman has favorable quotes from a high-ranking NASA official, as well as a "Professor Emeritus of a Major University"! That's as good as anything Rossi has!
That would be Leslie Szabo. From Pure Energy Systems web site Oct. 11, 2006:
“The EBM website features copies of two certifications of performance signed by credentialed individuals, including a professor from the University of Western Ontario, a vice president of Engineering from Norfolk Power Company of Ontario, as well as four professors from Miscoik University in Budapest. “These are just two of thousands of tests we have run,” said Szabo, who left Sopron University in Hungary in 1956, where he served as an Adjunct Professor of Mining Machinery, under Professor Falk.”
Sounds familiar. Read the rest of the perpetual motion machine hype.
If you watch the demo for his 'Big Eureka' he shows it pumping water in pulses and then he talks about how little power the machine uses and it's still running on a small battery. The best part, if you listen you can clearly hear it slow down. He has got a lot money out of this thing. He also claims that G_D talks to him and then says, "get it done people". I don't know exactly what that means but I can assume it means give Newman a lot of money and he'll get it done. If you watch the videos, they are quite funny, he really thinks people are as stupid as he is.

I guess having the support of college professors doesn't necessarily mean you have anything other than a scam?
The man had pictures of his machine! He had patents! (he said), he’s a “PROFESSOR”! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!!!!
But the good stuff is right here:

Totally unrelated to your post.
Its sad that you can’t read well enough to understand that.
The page you linked has been scrubbed.
Where is “right here?”
LOL :-) You're is the 23rd post and counting, but you imagine only a handful of people care. Care to see how big this thread grows once Kevmo's pinglist is notified?
Folks are free to ignore these threads, there is no compulsion to post on any of them. :-)
The page you linked has been scrubbed. No, I just screwed up the link the first time (it contained a weird character).
Check the link a couple of posts down.
Totally unrelated to your post.Looks exactly like what he was talking about. You're the one who seems confused. Its sad that you cant read well enough to understand that.
1. What is your source that he claimed to have a degree from this degree mill?
2. Any reason to dispute this doctorate? It seems to me that's far more significant than debating an undergrad degree.
(My apologies if it was someone else who kept bringing this up.)
If you google this: Interview with Prof. Szabo about his Energy-by-Motion machinepesn.com Radio Free Energy Now
you get the archives for Oct 2006. There find “Interview with Professor Szabo....”
Or simply google Leslie Szabo. It should be the second entry, and has the word “interview” in it.
No, toad makes some ridiculous and illogical extrapolations that are in no way supported by the link he provided.
He should know it, but whatever.
1. What is your source that he claimed to have a degree from this degree mill?I don't know that I've been "hammering" it (although some others have), but I've certainly mentioned it so I'll take responsibility.2. Any reason to dispute this doctorate? It seems to me that's far more significant than debating an undergrad degree.
Rossi mentions his degree from Kensington in his autobiography page HERE.
HERE is a story about Kensington. You can find plenty of others by Googling for them.
As for his Doctorate, I also saw the scanned document on his ecat.com site. I'm willing to accept what it says, that Rossi has a Doctorate from the University of Milan.
There was some confusion, possibly due to poor translation, about this. He was described as having "a degree in the Philosophy of Science". I'm guessing that this was a poor translation of "Doctor of Philosophy".
So, yes, I now have every reason to believe that he is "Dr. Rossi". I'm sorry if I caused any confusion.
Given just how much of his claims rely on his personal integrity and honest, the fact that he used a fake diploma is still a problem. I don't care whether he had any degree at all, but if he misrepresented himself, that puts everything else he has said into question.
