According to Muslim activists and their leftist allies, America is in the midst of an epidemic of bigotry. The hilariously misnamed Center for American Progress recently published “Fear, Inc.: The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America.”
The 138-page report alleges that Islamophobes - funded by “a flood of cash” (the charge is ironic, coming as it does from a Soros operation) - have manufactured conspiracy theories to spread fear and hatred of, and incite violence against, American Muslims.
If the allegations are true, Islamophobes are about as successful as an Obama jobs programs. According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports, in 2008, there were 1,606 hate crimes motivated by religious bias in this country - 65.7% against Jews, and only 7.7% against Muslims.
In the past decade, Christians have been hacked to death in Nigeria, bombed in Iraq, sentenced to death for blasphemy in Pakistan, beheaded in Indonesia, crucified in the Sudan, assassinated in the Philippines and lynched throughout the wide, wonderful world of Islam. In most cases, these atrocities are ongoing.
The Egyptian army recently massacred 25 Coptic Christians, who were protesting an earlier massacre by street mobs.
All of these atrocities were committed in the name of Islam by devout Muslims who cite the Koran to justify their crimes. Many are condoned by eminent Islamic scholars. Yet when you and I acknowledge this reality, we are compared to the Nazis.

Oh, stop it. Many ideologies, such as communism, Naziism, and the like are just as malevolent as Islam. But all people have the right to speak of them under the First Amendment.
Heck, such an authoritarian attitude, in the hands of the wrong democratic mob, could be used to declare conservative ideology as malevolent, and thus outlaw that.

One reason the framers limited the power of the central government was so that such Tyranny could not be imposed regardless of who might hold political power at the moment.

Every day in America, especially in high crime areas, things just as terrible as what happened to that gay guy Sheppard, happen.

Do we know those persons names? No we do not. Because they do not advance any liberal agenda.
Some day historians will note how America defended its First Amendment rights to the bitter end until the day that sharia law took over and abolished the very Amendment that had protected it up to that time.
Read the history of Asia Minor and North Africa starting with the 7th century. Then observe what is happening in Europe as you read this.
All I need to know about muslims is what I saw on 911 and the day after when they jumped for joy in the streets.
But if that is not enough then the several hundred WEEKLY reports of murder, slaughter, rape torture, stonings, honor killings, church burnings etc. that get reported would ice the cake......

I think 353FMG was talking about religious protection. Communism, Nazism and the like do not hide behind religious protection. They also do not openly advocate murder and slavery and women as property. As political entities, Communism and Nazism can be attacked and exposed for their murderous and destructive systems, without being able to hide behind protected beliefs of murder and slavery. There is a VERY big legal difference between the two, which Muslims are massively exploiting in order to infiltrate the educational system as well as neighborhoods, corporations and government work environments, always hiding behind religious protections.
Islam is NOT a 1st Amendment religion, and will NOT be stopped until this specific definition is struck down in America. Unfortunately, it will probably take letting these murderous demons set off a nuke before the country wakes up and throws their insane asses out once and for all.
