If you do that, they will serve you and you have to go a hearing and explain why you didnt show them or they will get a warrant, if they can.If they can hold you accountable for not volunteering to show them stuff (including answering questions) on a warrant-less request, then the whole warrant process is meaningless. You're not required to volunteer anything to LEO's, and barring exigent circumstances, etc., how can they justify continuing presence on private property when they don't have a warrant and the property owner has made it clear that he's not giving voluntary permission for their presence?
Apparently they are busy little beavers.... this issue is all over many internet forums. So if you buy 10 guns in a 30 day period, with no probably cause whatsoever, they can come to your house, accuse you of selling guns without a license and ask to see you guns.. if you refuse they get a warrant or drag you to a hearing. Seriously, WTF!! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad we bought a home outside the US. This country is about to fall off a very high cliff into a totalitarian bowl of poop! Grab your hat!
