Ugh. The first grade teachers when I was in school were 65+ years old. Well, one of them was at least 80, and everyone was terrified of her because she used to paddle children for fun. She was a scary-lookin’ old lady to impressionable first graders. She would send unruly students to the dreaded book room where she would paddle them.

SC teachers can get out of hand.....I believe it was a few years ago one wrote on a childs face with a sharpie “Where’s my Glasses”. Sadly It’s next to impossible to fire a teacher that has been with a school for a long time.
