Bedbugs and other bugs like fleas and ticks etc can be killed safely by application of activated enzyme preparations like Bug eSpray. It kills by dissolving the outer shell of the bug. No immunity can be developed. It is safe for pets and people. Never had a problem with bed bugs, but after reading several horror stories online, my wife and I decided to study up on the subject to be prepared.
After a lot of reading, we settled on Bug-E Spray as the best solution outside of heat treating (which can run $6,000 for an average sized home). The spray isn't cheap either, but if we ever had an infestation, I could certainly afford to start treatment with that, right away.
