To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks

Asinine. I’d like to take the inspector out to the day market near our house in Thailand and then he would have something to compare with the NV dinner. In 30 some years eatin food from that day market, I haven’t been sick. We are so protected in the USA that small business is regulated beyond reason. There is more danger from produce mass produced on corporate farm and distributed far from where it is grown than there is in all the local produce sold bypassing the government inspections, etc.

My first ‘WESTPAC’ cruise included a warning not to eat the local vegetables in Japan, with the reasoning being they were fertilized with human waste.
I guess our ‘systems’ supposedly weren’t able to process the food etc...
I think that ‘ban’ was followed for a few days as when one consumes enough local whiskey/alcohol into your system it kind of ‘fights off’ most fears.
Guess ‘our people’ were more worried about dysentery and/or ecoli than anything else (that is if we ‘KNEW’ about ecoli in 1957).....<: <:
