Ever since Nick Cage’s movie about these guys (Windtalkers, I believe?), I had and have a whole new appreciation for the contribution they made as a group to the American fighting effort.

Amazing men indeed but that movie was horrid.

...as many have said here. I didn’t find it nearly so bad (ok, it sure wasn’t Oscar material, but....). I didn’t give a damn about production values; it was the story of the Code Talkers that fascinated me.
