He admitted on FNC that it was a big mistake to do that ad.

He also said the same thing Sunday in Daytona - called it the biggest mistake he’s ever made.

Yeah I know. He’s had many big mistakes and just because we have forgotten doesn’t not mean they will remain so especially in a general election. Gingrich is a good man but he is his own worst enemy. He helped usher in 1994 but then went on to message up the messaging so bad that Clinton managed to win even when he lost. That is my primary worry with him at the top of the ticket. Again I like him but we should be honest with ourselves. There is no heir apparent. No magic candidate. If Newt wins the nomination I’ll gladly support him but let’s not have him win without being fully aware of the contest ahead. I personally think Cain has much better skills personally when it comes to taking apart Obama.

I saw that too..he said it was the stupidest thing he’s done. He now claims he is “agnostic” about GW if it is real and man made. That is a big improvement. Maybe Newt will rise to the top. I know he is for securing the border. I just dont know where he stands on amnesty. If he is for it, that is a deal breaker.

Why does he think it was a mistake? Has he attacked the climate hoaxers yet? If not, then he is still in that camp but he regrets the political backlash it has caused him.
