Good. Billy Crystal is the best host they’ve had. He should do it every year.
For once though, I’d like to see Robin Williams or Jim Carey do the honors.
They should bring in Ricky Gervais. I enjoyed seeing him express his contempt for Hollywood to it’s collective face at some other stupid awards show last year.
Thats the symbol of our current president, and the amount of times I have watched the Oscars
I poop on Hollywood.
Yawn.
Charlie Sheen should get a shot at the job.. He’d be able to connect to the audience better than anyone,, and be twice as loaded.
whew.. at least it’s not Piers Morgan.
Based upon his Emmy appearance, I vote for Don Rickles:

(Sorry I couldn’t find a way to edit out Kathy Griffin).
I have a healthy prejudice and a natural disdain, for Hollywood elites (with a handful of exceptions).
Why a “jester” should be held in such high regard by such a vast number of mindless Americans escapes me. These people are paid (overpaid) to entertain me at my time and place of choosing. Their work it to distract me, as I wish and if I choose, from the important work I do. Work that is actually productive and provides goods and services for other consumers (my fellow citizens). I am rewarded for my professional skill with fair compensation (by an employer). I am also a devoted husband and father. The importance of these “pretenders” is way overplayed compared to the average, hard working American Citizen. That they televise umpteen events to glorify and award themselves for such meaningless work only furthers my animosity toward first the individuals and then the profession.
Here is a group of wealthy elite (not all) that conceal themselves in a bubble of peers. Their most important desire and goal is to be of a certain social status in their bubble. They exist to impress and garner the admiration of their bubblemates. They compete to champion (mostly) meaningless and misguided causes to enhance their social status. Some even go and adopt children from foreign countries and hire nannys to raise them. All the while, they run to microphones and media opps to prove their ignorance and admonish the evils of America. They denigrate our country for being greedy and for capitalism and fairness here and abroad while basking in the glory of their free enterprise achievements. Is it any wonder why the celeb elites always have such insurmountable “life” issues that they wear like a badge of honor? Drug rehab, divorce, Alcoholism, custody disputes, etc......
I would rather (and have) share a beer with the guys that come to pick up my trash than let most of those A$$hats step foot on my lawn.
Summation: I wouldn't watch an actors award show if Ronald Reagan rose from the dead to host it.
Rant over...
(Disclaimer: There are a few that I might accept an invitation to meet.)
Who cares what Hollywood does? Let me know if there are occupiers.
I can hardly wait.....to miss it.
A fine time to watch John Wayne in “HONDO.”
LOL, the Muppets beat out Tom Hanks
