I'm majoring in engineering, working, and paying for the whole mess myself. I don't have time for anything but study & work, same as you did.

But there is an incredible number of people these days who seem to think college is a party-pad/liberal protest area.

I don't know how it was when you were in school, but today most of the technical courses are at bad times, usually after 5:00 P.M., so they can offer the ditz courses earlier in the day.
